Let’s dive into what exactly the Pretty Plant-Based Lifestyle is. It’s a lifestyle method that includes awareness for overall health, plant-based food, clean products, and compassionate lifestyle choices. It is balancing all of this into your lifestyle.
This method is simple and sustainable. I often refer to it as an 80/20 balance, sticking to the good habits 80% of the time with a healthy balance of 20% “enjoy the moment and live it up!” I found, after a lot of personal disappointment from trial-and-error diets and lifestyle methods, that I couldn’t maintain any of these strict changes. Honestly, that’s just not me, and sometimes life happens, and we need to have a little flexibility. Once I embraced my truth and accepted that, it all became so simple, perfectly perfect. I finally found something that works and am happy I can share it with you. The goal is to follow the clean, toxic-free, organic, natural lifestyle as much as possible, while still knowing that things can happen in life. We might forget our shampoo on vacation and use the hotel products for one use or be at a friend’s house where they believe they prepared a vegan dish, but you later realize they used butter. Life will happen, so having some forgiveness helps us stick with it. This makes it easy to move on and keep going, not giving up because of a bump along the way. It is an understanding that we haven’t failed with the lifestyle. We will still do our best to be as strict as we can, whenever possible, for the best results.
